Sensational wide trumpet-shaped blooms make these tropical Hippeastrum plants a firm favorite for the windowsill or conservatory. Amaryllis 'Double King' produces up to 3 flower stalks, often bearing several blooms per stem, each reaching up to 20cm (8") across. The deep, burgundy, purple blooms make for a really stunning display. Hippeastrum plants require a minimum temperature of 13°C (55°F) and are best grown as a house plant, or in a heated greenhouse.
