Planting Instructions (from a 3.5" pot)

    1. Timing: Plant after the last frost when the soil has warmed to at least 70°F (21°C).
    2. Location: Choose a location with partial to full shade.
    3. Soil Preparation: Prepare well-draining soil rich in organic matter. Amend with compost if necessary.
    4. Planting Depth: Dig a hole slightly larger than the pot. The top of the root ball should be level with or slightly above the soil surface.
    5. Spacing: Space plants about 12-18 inches apart to allow for adequate growth and air circulation.
    6. Planting:
      • Gently remove the plant from the pot, being careful not to damage the roots.
      • Place the plant in the hole and fill in with soil, pressing gently to eliminate air pockets.
    7. Watering: Water thoroughly after planting and keep the soil consistently moist but not soggy.
    8. Mulching: Apply a 2-3 inch layer of mulch around the base of the plant to retain moisture and regulate soil temperature.
    9. Care:
      • Fertilize monthly with a balanced, water-soluble fertilizer during the growing season.
      • Remove any yellow or damaged leaves to encourage healthy growth.
      • Monitor for pests and treat as necessary.

The Sea Foam Caladium is a versatile and attractive plant that can brighten up shady garden areas or add a tropical touch to indoor spaces. With proper care, it will thrive and provide beautiful foliage throughout the growing season.
