Pink Spider Lily (Lycoris squamigera), sometimes called Resurrection Lily, Surprise Lily, or Naked Lady, is a unique and enchanting perennial bulb. Its strap-like green foliage appears in spring, dies back in early summer, and then—often seemingly overnight—tall, leafless stems emerge in late summer, topped with clusters of delicate, trumpet-shaped blooms in soft pink. With their spidery petals and sweet fragrance, these flowers create a magical late-season display. Long-lived and naturalizing well, Pink Spider Lilies are perfect for borders, woodland gardens, or scattered in lawns for a surprise splash of color.

Bareroot Planting Instructions (Pink Spider Lily Bulbs):

    1. Timing: Plant in late summer to fall, or early spring if bulbs are available.

    2. Location: Select a sunny to partially shaded site with well-draining soil.

    3. Depth & Position: Plant bulbs with the neck just at or slightly above the soil surface, 4–6 inches deep.

    4. Spacing: Allow 6–12 inches between bulbs to give them room to spread.

    5. Watering: Water lightly after planting. Keep soil moderately moist during growth and bloom periods, but allow it to dry during summer dormancy.

    6. Aftercare: Foliage will emerge in spring and die back before summer; do not disturb bulbs during dormancy. Divide clumps every 4–5 years if crowded.
