Winter Jasmine is a cheerful, early-blooming shrub that brightens the landscape when little else is in flower. Producing masses of bright yellow blooms along its arching green stems in late winter to early spring, it brings a welcome burst of color before most plants awaken. Unlike many jasmines, it is not strongly fragrant, but it makes up for it with its reliable blooms and versatility. It can be grown as a sprawling groundcover, cascading over walls, or trained along trellises for a more structured look.
