      Stella D’Oro Daylily (Hemerocallis ‘Stella de Oro’) is one of the most popular and dependable daylily varieties, cherished for its continuous blooms, compact size, and cheerful golden color.       • Planting Instructions (from a 3.5" pot into the ground):

        • Plant in spring or early fall when temperatures are mild.

        • Choose a sunny location with well-draining soil.

        • Dig a hole about twice as wide and as deep as the pot.

        • Remove the plant from the pot, gently loosening roots if compacted.

        • Position the crown (where roots meet foliage) about 1 inch below soil level.

        • Backfill with soil, firm gently, and water thoroughly.

        • Apply mulch around the base to retain moisture, keeping it away from the crown.

        • Water regularly during the first growing season; once established, water only during prolonged dry spells.
