Planting Instructions (from a 3.5" pot):
1. Select a well-draining site in full sun
2. Dig a hole twice as wide as the pot and the same depth
3. Place the plant so the crown is level with the soil surface
4. Backfill, firm soil gently, and water deeply
5. Space plants 18–24 inches apart for proper airflow
6. Water regularly during establishment, then only during prolonged dry periods
7. Deadhead spent blooms to extend flowering and maintain a tidy appearance
8. Cut back foliage in late fall or early spring to encourage fresh growth
