Vinca minor, commonly known as Periwinkle, is a hardy, evergreen groundcover prized for its glossy foliage and charming star-shaped flowers. Spreading quickly to form a dense mat, it is ideal for covering slopes, filling in shaded areas, and suppressing weeds. In spring—and often intermittently through summer—it produces violet-blue blooms that brighten low-light spaces. Tough and adaptable, vinca minor thrives in conditions where many other plants struggle, making it a go-to solution for difficult landscape areas.
