Planting Instructions (From a 3.5" Pot into the Ground)
1. Choose the Location
- Select a warm location with rich, moisture-retentive soil.
- Ideal for tropical gardens, pond edges, rain gardens, and large landscape beds.
2. Prepare the Soil
- Loosen soil 10–12 inches deep.
- Incorporate compost or organic matter to improve fertility and moisture retention.
3. Dig the Hole
- Dig a hole twice as wide as the 3.5" pot and equal depth.
4. Remove from Pot
- Carefully remove the plant and gently loosen any circling roots.
5. Plant
- Position the root ball level with the surrounding soil surface.
- Backfill and firm soil gently.
6. Water
- Water thoroughly after planting.
- Keep soil consistently moist throughout the growing season.
7. Spacing
- Space plants 3–5 feet apart to accommodate mature growth and allow airflow.
Seasonal Care & Maintenance
- Water regularly, especially during hot summer weather.

Overwintering (Zones Below 8)
