Planting Instructions (From a 3.5" Pot into the Ground)
1. Choose the Location
- Select a sunny location with excellent drainage.
- Ideal for rock gardens, retaining walls, slopes, borders, containers, and xeriscape gardens.
2. Prepare the Soil
- Loosen soil 6–8 inches deep.
- Incorporate sand, gravel, or small stones if drainage improvement is needed.
- Avoid heavy clay or consistently wet soils.
3. Dig the Hole
- Dig a hole twice as wide as the 3.5" pot and equal depth.
4. Remove from Pot
- Carefully remove the plant and gently loosen any circling roots.
5. Plant
- Position the root ball level with the surrounding soil surface.
- Backfill with well-draining soil and firm gently around the roots.
6. Water Thoroughly
- Water after planting to settle the soil.
- Continue watering regularly during establishment.
7. Spacing
- Space plants 12–18 inches apart for rapid groundcover development.
Seasonal Care & Maintenance
- Water sparingly once established.
- Avoid overwatering, especially during winter months.
- Trim lightly after flowering if needed to maintain a tidy appearance.
- Excellent for poor soils and low-maintenance landscapes.
