The Reka Blueberry (Vaccinium corymbosum ‘Reka’) is a vigorous, early-season highbush variety known for its high yields, adaptability, and outstanding flavor. Originating from New Zealand, Reka produces medium to large deep blue berries with a tangy-sweet taste ideal for fresh eating, baking, or preserves. This fast-growing plant thrives in a range of soils, including heavier or wetter types, and its glossy green foliage turns a brilliant red in fall, adding ornamental appeal to edible landscapes.

***We recommend that you wait 7 to 10 days from the date of receipt before repotting your plants, to allow them to recover from the shock of shipping***

Exercise caution and use your best judgment before ordering during unusually hot or cold weather (below 32 degrees F, or in excess of 95F for shipping purposes), as these extremes may leave your plant vulnerable to damage. The optimal time for planting for most of our material is in mid to late spring, past the danger of hard frost. Please refer to our preferred shipping and planting guide for your area below.

Sometimes these plants are small, like the pictures. Sometimes they will be larger, depending on crop rotation. No plants are shipped from our farm until fully rooted.
