    Sisyrinchium angustifolium ‘Lucerne’, commonly known as Blue-Eyed Grass, is a charming, grass-like perennial that produces a profusion of starry violet-blue flowers with bright yellow centers in late spring to early summer. Despite its name, it’s not a true grass but a member of the iris family, forming neat, clumping tufts of slender green foliage. ‘Lucerne’ is ideal for rock gardens, borders, and naturalized areas, offering delicate beauty and reliable performance in sunny, well-drained sites.

      • Water regularly during establishment, then as needed during dry spells

      • Divide every few years to maintain vigor and prevent overcrowding

      • Remove spent blooms to encourage longer flowering
